DOs & DON'Ts

Teera is a home. And like every home there are certain house-rules that needs to be respected by its dwellers. Whenever we visit any home, just the way the residents there make us aware of the house rules, we are doing the same for our visitors. This is to make our visitors more comfortable and welcomed...!

You are welcome to DO

Bookings for Teera needs to be done through phone calls, Whatsapp, Emails, in short by interacting with humans and not as an automated process.
Cancellation policy would be intimated at the time of Booking without any ambiguity and you are expected to follow accordingly.
Teera being a home the guests are expected to be back for the night by 10:30 pm unless informed otherwise beforehand.
Guests are expected to book for their Lunch & Dinner beforehand within the time mentioned. Last moment bookings for Lunch & Dinner and/or any cooking request for any special item won't be accepted.
You need to pay for any Lunch and Dinner booked by you and not cancelled within our specified timeframe. Even if you didn't consume it for any reason, you would still be charged for it as we would have prepared the same for you.
Teera is an eco home made by natural materials, situated amidst paddy fields thus small pests like cockroaches, ants or spiders would be coming and the guests are expected not to panic. These creatures won't harm anyone if left alone. Having said that, we would, from our end try to restrain these creatures from entering our premises.

What we DON'T expect from you

Loud Music

We are nested in the cocoon of nature with Santali village as our neighbours. We want that serenity and nature’s music to be respected & appreciated. Music is welcome but not loud cacophony & partying outside

Disrespectful Behaviour

Our staff would try their best to look after your comfort. They would be respectful towards you and we would expect the same from you towards our staff, even neighbors, while you speak to them about anything, service or otherwise

Littering & Polluting

We are a natural home surrounded by active farm lands. We are cautious about pollution & expect our guests respect the same by throwing their trash only is designated places & refrain from using plastics as much as possible

Causing Nuisance

We don't serve alcohol and we don't expect any guest to have it the open areas. At the same time we respect our guests privacy. Thus guests can have their drinks inside their rooms without causing any nuisance for the other guests & staff

Unreasonable Demands

We would always try our better than best to keep our guests comfortable and in spirit. However, we won't be able to cater to any last moment demands and/or requirements that doesn't go with the theme and rules of the house.
